The Semi-Pro Grand Prix at Magny Cours saw new drivers in chase of David
Zasitko: Ron Vance stayed close behind the dominating driver of first
rounds while most others began to drop back very soon. Only Gavin Mclean
was also able to stay in touch with Ron during the first half of the race,
but David was already pulling away at the front. Later on, James Caygill
closed the gap to the drivers on 2nd and third and all three showed a very
close race for the podium positions. Gavin and James passed Ron while the
Mopar driver was making a pit stop in lap 28. Until the end, Ron overtook
James again and closed in on Gavin, but he defended his 2 second
lead over Ron in the last two laps of the race. While David seems to get
used to winning races, the other two podium finishers were happy about
their best result of the season so far.

- James Caygill (Team AP):
"The replay shows my attempt to avoid a bit of trouble; See a CC amusingly
attempt to outbreak another on a fast corner, by driving over the grass and
ramming him off the track!. And me attempt to weave through them, and
bounce off the wall. But skillfully regain control and spin myself back
onto the track. Ah-hah-hah-ha. Hah. <whimper>"
