Quickly Locating Information Using the Index Pages

Use the Index pages at the back of every Notebook to quickly find information based on what you might remember about it: a word, a name, a file type, that you entered it last Thursday, etc.

The Text Index page lists all of the words in use within the Notebook.

Clicking a word expands it to show the cells that contain it and where .

Clicking a bullet jumps you to the cell’s page and selects it.

The other Index pages that show matches within the text are the Capitalized Words, Numbers and Internet Addresses Index pages.

By default, NoteBook collapses each cell to just its first line of text containing the word.  Use the Index Page Options Sticker to view matching cells in their entirety.

Choose an auto-sort in the Auto-Sorting Sticker to have NoteBook sort the matching cells.
