Configuring Unison with your Usenet server

The first time you start Unison, you will asked for information needed to connect to your Usenet server. Click the Configure button. You must first enter the address of your Usenet server. You can get this address from your Usenet service provider. Unison will check the server to make sure it is valid. A green check mark indicates the server address is valid, a red X indicates it is not. If necessary, you'll be asked to provide your username and password for the server.

If you've run Unison before, you can configure a server in Unison's preferences.

Choose Edit Servers from the Servers item in the Unison menu. Click the + button to create a new entry for your server. Unison can contain multiple server configurations.

Type in all your server information, then click OK to add your new server to the list.

The highlighted server in the server list is the one Unison will use.
