Choosing files to upload

The first step in the process of uploading files to a group is to open the upload sheet and select which files you wish to upload.

To open the upload sheet, you must first have a window open for the group you wish to upload to. Click Upload in the toolbar of that window.

Add files to be uploaded by either dragging them from the Finder to the upload sheet, or click the + button to open a file browser.

Alternatively, you can drag files from the Finder directly into any open group window. The upload sheet will open, with those files already added.

Finally, enter descriptions of the files you will be uploading. These descriptions appear in the subject line of the uploaded items, and tell other readers of the group what your files contain. Unison automatically appends the names of the files to their description.
