Enable "Super Get Info" Support
To use the shareware "Super Get Info" utility by Bare Bones Software to handle opening Get Info windows for DragThing items, check this box.
You can download a copy from the Bare Bones website at www.barebones.com.
Enable "Path Finder" Support
To use the shareware "Path Finder" utility by CocoaTech instead of the Finder, check this box.

Show splash screen at startup
To show the animated DragThing logo as DragThing starts up, check this box.
Hide DragThing icon in Apple Dock
To stop the DragThing icon from being listed in the Apple Dock when DragThing is running, check this box.
This also has the side effect of hiding the menu bar for DragThing. Keyboard shortcuts will still work if you click on a dock first. If you want to switch this off again, bring up the contextual menu for any dock, and choose "Preferences...". Or, just click on a dock and use the "Command-comma" keyboard shortcut.
Changing this option requires that you are an admin user with permission to modify the DragThing application, because it modifies a file inside. Note that changing this option will affect all users who run this same copy of DragThing.
Spring-load dock items
To enable the following options, check this box.
Use spring-loaded folders
To have a menu appear when you drag and hold an item over a folder stored in a dock for a period of time, check this box.
You can use this feature to drop on items inside the folder, such as applications, or other folders.
Dragging to a disabled item in the menu is considered the same as dropping the item on the parent folder, so be careful you don't accidently move things.
Use spring-loaded applications
To switch to an application when you drag and hold something over its icon for a period of time, check this box.
Only show appropriate items in menus
To filter the spring-loaded folder menus to only show items you can drop onto, check this box.
In the case of the Applications folder for example, this option will make the menu only list applications which can accept the file you are currently dragging.
Delay before opening folder
To set the delay before the spring-loaded folder menu opens when you are holding an item over the icon in a dock, drag this slider.
If you want to open the menu immediately, just press the space bar. If you want to close a menu again, press the Escape key.
Number of recent items
To set the number of recent items remembered by each application item in your docks, choose it from the popup menu.
Items dropped onto application items are listed in the "Open Recent" submenu of the application's contextual menu.
Vertical text direction
To determine how vertical text in layer tabs and the name bar is displayed, choose automatic, top to bottom or bottom to top from the popup menu.
When automatic is selected, the text direction is determined by the position of the tabs or name bar in the dock.
To set the frequency with which DragThing automatically saves the Preference settings and dock files, choose a time interval from the popup menu.
To disable the auto-save feature, select "Never" in the popup menu.
Update icon counts
To set the frequency with which DragThing updates the number displayed on certain application icons, choose a time interval from the popup menu.
To disable the checking feature, select "Never" in the popup menu.
Chosing a shorter interval will make the application icons update quicker when the number changes, but it will use more CPU.
Clipping window font
To set the font used by default for text in the clipping windows, choose one from the popup menu.
This setting will not be used by clippings which already contain style information.
Clipping window font size
