Entering a spatial anomoly, Dax, O'Brien and Bashir are shrunk to the size of insects. Matters become worse when their lifeline to the defiant is severed by a Dominion attack which leads to the capture of the Star Fleet vesse. The three tiny people must defeat the full size occupying force to rescue the defiant and avoid having to be minute for the rest of their lives.
