TV presenter Christine Craft won $300,000 damages yesterday after losing her job for being "too old and ugly."
  
Christine, 38, sued a TV station in Kansas City, Missouri, claiming sex discrimination and fraud.
  
She said studio bosses promised her a top job on a news programme because of her journalistic skills.
  
But when she was demoted for refusing to be turned into a sex symbol a local court was told.
  
She said a director called her "unattractive and not deferential enough to men."
