[About The Guide]
PACK
PACK physically removes records that are marked for deletion from the
active database file.
Syntax
PACK
Usage
All open index files are automatically REINDEXed.
After you execute a PACK command, the disk space used by the deleted
records is reclaimed when the file is closed. Note that PACK does not
create a backup file or use any temporary files. All file operations
are internal to the current database file.
