compiler for your computer and should check to make sure that no one
else is working on a similar file.

In the past, many people have asked me for technical help with games, so I
thought that I should warn people that I do not have the expertise to give
any technical support for this or any other game.  If you have technical
questions, try calling Broderbund Tech Support at the number in the manual.

Many of the things you can look at and use in MYST are not essential to the
progress of the game.  In fact, many of them are just window dressing and
are completely unrelated to the real puzzles.  If you don't see something
mentioned in this file, you can safely assume that it's not all that
important.

to open an adjacent door, and such.
