And did you touch it?

Then you must have seen/felt Mack's name on it.  You should try getting a
more complete picture of what's on the plaque.

It might help to make a copy of the plaque.

Hint 7 of 9:

The plaque is obviously in relief.

Hint 8 of 9:

So rubbing a pencil or equivalent over it will help.
