What should I do here?

There's really only one thing that you need to do at first -- wait for the
phone to ring.  You might want to look through some of the items on your desk
while you are waiting.

When the phone rings, answer it.

You first have to turn on the lights in the foyer to reach the kitchen.

There's a light switch near the door, on the right side of the foyer.

Now just answer the phone and talk to Ed.  Nothing that you can say is really
all that bad, so explore through the choices and say whatever you feel like.

The eventual goal of the conversation is to get Ed to send you a computer
game.
