What should I do with the pail?

It can only fly around like that because it is so light.

If you could find a way of weighting it down, it wouldn't be able to move.

But as you probably know if you've tried, you can't do anything to it while
you're near it -- the pail will see you and move.

Try going back a screen or two and look for a place to set something up.

A catapult might be nice.

You'll need something flat to act as the lever and something that you want to
throw at the pail.
