Displaying the History List

You can display the History list to return to a recently viewed page or file. The File menu displays up to seven of the last viewed pages in this session. The Address Bar and the More History command list additional pages visited, including those visited in previous sessions. You can set options to specify how many pages are saved in your History list.

To open a page recently viewed in this session

1. On the File menu, click a recent file listed above More History.
   
2. If the file or page is not listed, click More History, and then double-click the page you want to open (or select it, and then choose Jump To).

1. On the View menu, click Options, and then click the Advanced tab.
   
2. In the History area, change the number of places that Internet Explorer keeps track of in your History folder.
