  1. Describe what standard for surrogate decision making is used for minor children.

  2. Describe and compare parental permission, child assent, and informed consent.

  3. Describe three problematic issues around parental decision making.

  4. List four additional topics that pose ethical issues around care of seriously-ill and dying children.
