| From Software, the company which made the "King's
Field" series and "Armored Core", will soon release a new 3D RPG in Japan
called "Shadow Tower". It uses a similar graphic engine as King's Field, but you
can expect many improvements. It's like a dungeon RPG, where the hero has to explore tombs and other creepy places to fight monsters and undeads. There will be dozens of levels to clear. Your goal is to free the souls of the people in your home village. Like other RPGs, the more enemies you defeat, the more experience points you gain. When you level up, your abilities will be improved, and there are 14 of them in total. Everything will be rendered in realtime polygons. The player can arm himself with various weapons like swords and bows and use a shield for defense. There will be a special "Creature Book", where the enemies the player has encountered will be noted down. You can then view them anytime you want if you need info about them.
