| Coming soon to PlayStation exclusively is the
home version of Street Fighter EX. It will be sold through Digicube only at a price
of 5800 yen.
PS version Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha is based on the arcade SFEX Plus version. It features more characters (Akuma, Brair, Darun, Garuda and Vega), more colors, more moves and Super Combo Finishes.
The game is still like the old SF games, with 3 punch and 3 kick buttons. New features include Guard Break, Throwbreak and Reversal (counter).
The PlayStation version will have a total 23 selectable characters. Sakura and Dhalsim are exclusively designed for the home version. Other new characters include Cycloid Beta and Cycloid Gamma. Cycloid Beta is a transparent fighter and Gamma is a wireframe model. Both are mixtures of existing characters, kinda like Dural of Virtua Fighter.
SFEX Plus Alpha also have Evil Ryu and Evil Hokuto. Both look totally wicked with black outfits. Evil Ryu got all moves from Akuma and more.
