To open the Appearance menu, open the popup menu and select Appearance control. Read more in Working with color schemes.

| Color schemes | Shows color schemes available at your PC. Current scheme is shown in bold. Click the desired scheme to change desktop appearance. |
| Set random color scheme | Change current color scheme to randomly selected. |
| Pick random color scheme|At startup | Check this option to pick random color scheme as default, each time Windows starts. |
| Pick random color scheme|Every hour | Check this option to pick random color scheme as default, every hour (if 1st QuickRes is loaded). |
