Change display mode

1. To change current display mode, open the popup menu and click the corresponding menu item containing desired screen resolution and color depth.
2. After mode change, confirmation dialog appears.
   
   
   • To make changes permanent press OK.
   • To abandon changes and restore previous display mode, press Cancel.
   • To keep new changes until Windows restart, press Until restart.
   Previous display mode will be restored automatically, if you won't press any button in 15 seconds.

Tips

If Store icon positions option is selected in the Options dialog, then positions of the desktop icons is stored for each screen resolution. This allows you to keep desktop icons positions unchanged while switching between different screen resolutions.

If Store window positions option is selected in the Options dialog, then positions and sizes of all visible windows is stored for each screen resolution. So the position and size of windows remain unchanged while you switching between different desktop sizes (screen resolutions).

If display mode is selected from the list of supported by display adapter, current refresh rate remains unchanged.

If you want to restore previous display mode you can press Ctrl+Alt+P. This shortcut can be customized in the Keyboard|Previous video mode item of the Options dialog.

If favorite mode is selected, and it does not define special value for refresh rate, then last used refresh rate is "recalled".
