Show main menuThe
[ ] Show Main Menu checkbox controls whether the
Main Menu is displayed
or not. The menu is displayed at the top of the main program
window and is used to execute commands.
The default value for this setting is "unchecked".
Show main menu toolbarThe
[ ] Show Main Menu Toolbar checkbox controls whether the
Main Menu
Toolbar is displayed or not. The menu is displayed in the top
portion of the main program window and is used to execute
commands. It differs from the Main Menu only that it
customizable/movable.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
Show main toolbarThe
[ ] Show Main Toolbar checkbox controls whether the
Main Toolbar is
displayed or not. The toolbar is displayed in the top portion of
the main program window and is used to execute commands. The
buttons displayed in the toolbar can be customized. See the
section Customizing the Toolbar for details.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
Show navigation panelThe
[ ] Show Navigation Panel checkbox controls whether the
Navigation
Panel is displayed or not. The panel is displayed on the left
side of the main window and provides quick access to drives, the local
network, FTP sessions, system folders and favorite folders.
The default value for this setting is "unchecked".
Panels layoutThe
Panels Layout controls are used to select the number and layout of file
panels in the main window. Just Manager supports between 1 and 16
simultaneous file panels.
Columns count
The
Columns Count up/down control defines the number of file panel columns
that will be displayed. This value can be between 1 and 4.
The default value of this setting is "2".
Rows count
The
Rows Count up/down control defines the number of file panel rows that
will be displayed. This value can be between 1 and 4.
The default value of this setting is "1".
The size of the panels can be changed by dragging the panel dividers.
A
context menu is also available by right clicking on a panel
divider. The context menu provides the options 25/75, 50/50, and
75/25 which will divide the width of the panels in those proportions.
The context menu is only available when the panel layout is set to 2x1.
Drives accessThe
Drive Access controls provide a quick means of changing to another
drive letter, the local network, and FTP sessions. The following
controls are supported:
ButtonsThe
[ ] Buttons checkbox controls whether the
Drive Access Buttons bars are
displayed or not. The bars are located above each file panel.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
ListsThe
[ ] List checkbox controls whether the
Drive Access List bars are
displayed or not. The lists are located above each file
panel. These list are implemented as dropdown (combobox) lists.
The default value for this setting is "unchecked".
Disk size infoThe Disk Size Info controls provide a means of displaying drive information The following controls are supported:
TextThe
[ ] Text checkbox controls whether the
Drive Size Text panel is
displayed or not. The panel is located above each file panel and
displays the disk size and amount of free space left on the drive.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
GraphicsThe
[ ] Graphics checkbox controls whether the
Drive Size Graphics panel is
displayed or not. The panel is located above each file panel and
displays a progress type control showing the amount of space being used
and the amount of free space.
The bar graphic will be displayed
in an alternate color whenever the free space drops below 10% of the
total capacity of the drive. See the section
Configuration/Fonts
and Colors for details on setting the colors used to display this bar.
Hovering the mouse cursor above this control shows the same information as in the Disk Size Text above.
The default value for this setting is "unchecked".
Show in one lineThe
[ ] Show in one line checkbox controls the display of the drive size
panel when both the [ ] Text and [ ] Graphics checkboxes are
selected. If this control is unchecked then the text and graphics
information are displayed on separate lines. If this control is
checked then the text and graphics information is displayed on a single
line with the text information displayed in front of the graphics bar.
Show path panelsThe
[ ] Show Path Panels checkbox controls whether the
Path Panels are
displayed or not. The panels are displayed above each file
panel. The Path Panels are use to display the current path for
the current tab in the corresponding file panel. They can also be
used to quickly change folders. See the section
Changing Drives
and Folders for more information.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
Show information barsThe
[ ] Show Information Bars checkbox controls whether the
Information
Panels are displayed or not. The panels are displayed below each
file panel. The Information Panels are use to display the folder
and file information relating to their corresponding file panel.
The total number of folders and number of selected folders is
displayed. The total number of files and the number of selected
files is also displayed. Finally the amount of space consumed by
the number of selected files (not folders) is also displayed.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
Show command lineThe
[ ] Show Command Line checkbox controls whether the
Command Line Panel
is displayed or not. The panel is displayed near the bottom of
the main window. The Command Line panel is used to manually enter
and execute Window's console (cmd.exe) commands.
Typing
displayable characters in a file panel will redirect the input to the
Command Line edit control. If the Command Line panel is hidden
then it will automatically be displayed temporarily until the command
is executed or aborted.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
Show NC style function toolbarThe
[ ] Show NC Style Function Toolbar checkbox controls whether the
Function Toolbar panel is displayed or not. The panel is
displayed near the bottom of the main window. The Function
Toolbar panel lists some common commands and their shortcuts. It
can also be used as a button bar to click on and execute commands.
The default value for this setting is "checked".
Show status barThe
[ ] Show Status Bar checkbox controls whether the
Status Bar panel is
displayed or not. The panel is displayed at the bottom of the
main window. The Status Bar displays a variety of information
during some Just Manager operations.
The default value for this setting is "unchecked".
Use visual stylesThe
[ ] Use Visual Styles checkbox is used to control how some of the
program's main window is displayed. When this control is checked
then some of the elements of the main program window will be displayed
using Window's appearance configuration and most of the settings in the
Configuration/Fonts And Colors page will not be used.
When this control is unchecked all of the settings in the
Configuration/Fonts And Colors page will be applied.
This setting affects the Main Menu Toolbar and the Main Toolbar.
IMPORTANT.
If you change this setting the change will not be applied until the
next time Just Manager is started. It is recommended that if you
are in the midst of configuring the look and feel of the program that
you exit and restart Just Manager if you are going to be modifying
items in the
Fonts and Colors page in order that you properly see the
effects of the changes that you are making.
