pictures of an enchanting smile
hard to believe that faithfulness
could go out of fashion
a word goes astray
tenderness suffers
from their experiments
feelings are sacrificed
for their first impressions

such a strange anxienty
overwhelms me
and I try so hard to suppress
this cruel powerlessness
oh, a touch or this taste
and her so beautiful face
see the girl through my eyes
feel ashamed for all this lies
and to feel how it harms
holding her close in my arms
when today all the fun
and the beauty are gone

when the truth
revealed the division
another part of my dream died
lost in the senseless delusion
