PHADE

Frank Gadegast is KeyJ PHADE

KeyJ PHADE is my synonym, part of my company's name and, surely, my e-mail-adress.

KeyJ means KeyJockey (like DiskJockey), and that's what I am.

Phade was the name of an very early graffiti-sprayer, DJ and computer-freak in New York, he died very soon and this is my way to honour his work.

Myself was born at the 1. August 1966 in Frankfurt, GERMANY, but I moved to Berlin when I was eight, for the skill of the big city. I started working with computers in the age of fourteen, at school with a Wang computer (yeah, yeah, they even had 8"-floppy disk !), got shortly later my first Apple ][e, switched then to the first IBM-PC's for making money, decided that they are no good and run into the first Unix-machines when I was twenty.

From there on I studied Informatik (computer science) at the Technische Universitä in Berlin, founded my company and worked away in the computer networld.

"Trailpack CD-Rom" MDR: 100 GRAD Fritz: Audio im Internet

I will be able to make my degree this year, studying about MPEG (working on the X11-MPEG-Player called XMPLAY ,a Multimedia Security Stream System, called MM_SECUDE (SECMPEG), enabling the user to encrypt and hash MPEG-Video-, MPEG-Audio- and SMP-Video-streams, several tools for MPEG (f.e. a MPEG-Audio cutting tool called WMP2SPLIT).

The latest project is called PowerWeb ! Consult my home-page if you want to know more ...

... and surely the META-FAQ CD-Rom is coming soon with more than 200 FAQs organized and fully indexed. The FAQ's themselve will be formatted like the MPEG-FAQ 4.0 currently is !
