Stapler --------- I modeled this stapler after the one sitting on my desk. Enjoy. Essence was used to create the slight rainbow effect on the metal and was also used to vary the brightness on the stapler slightly to give it a more realistic look. If you don't have essence, removing the textures won't hurt anything. The object should be rendered with other things for it to reflect around it, and best results are with trace mode.. something that is a MUST if you are doing an object with chrome in it.. just doesn't seem to look right otherwise. The stapler may look a little too reflective, but hey, that's what it looks like in real life. The curving piece on the bottom was created by taking a sphere primitive, cutting it in half, and pulling the ends far apart. Ditto for the dents in the "contact plate" on the stapler. A lot of the other stuff was done with just manually creating lines and adding faces (not too bad after you get quick at using add faces and hide points). This object is public domain, do whatever you want with it! If you like this one, please ftp some of your own objects to wuarchive, or send them up to studio amiga BBS (817) 557-2111.
