Here are the changes in the manual and technical support:

1. (S)tations will take you into combat when another ship is in range.
	If the enemy is attacking your ship, you will be thrown into 
        stations.
        
2. (X) in Communications will allow you to select one of the enemy ships
  	to scan.  The accuracy of the information is dependent on your
        character's communication related skills.

3. If your computer's status is below 75, computer programs may be 
	destroyed.  They will disappear from your computer.

4. The Target Program is not required to fire lasers or missiles.  It 
	will serve as an auto-target.  If Target is not loaded into the
        computer and running, move the cross-hairs manually to the enemy
        ship.
        
5. To fire missiles, (T)arget, then hit the number for the desired 
	missile bay, then (F)ire or <enter>.
