Energy saving Sky Tunnel from Sola Skylights efficiently pipes available daylight into dark interiors. The units innovative Flexi-Tube incorporates a highly reflective inner surface that transmits most of the light entering the crystal clear roof dome down to the ceiling diffuser. In addition standard units can be configured to act as a trickle ventilator. Standard assemblies are available for tile, slate and flat roofs with any orientation because the Flexi-Tube will direct the available daylight to where its needed, be it a windowless room, dark corridor or dark north facing room. Even on dull days, natural light will flood into your home. The ST350 model fits between 16 inch (400mm) frame centres whilst the ST400, ST500 and ST550 fit between 24 inch (600mm) centres.

The following table provides a general guide to application:

ST400	Larger windowless bathrooms, hallways and landings.
ST500 &ST550	Lounges, dining areas, kitchens family rooms, bedrooms, home offices and large interiors.

Normally supplied with a three metre length of Flexi-Tube, optional 4, 5 or 6 metre tubes can be supplied where necessary. Other optional components include the Heritage Window developed for use in conservation areas and fitted in lieu of the standard dome, a double glazed dome and ceiling diffuser for extra heat insulation, a fire collar for the ceiling diffuser that will give from 1 to 4 hours of fire protection, an electric light unit that fits within the Flexi-Tube and Eclipse Varilight, a clever system that allows the home-owner to cut off daylight transmission when desired. The ST400 and ST500 models can have Adjustair, an adjustable ceiling diffuser that provides controlled ventilation.
