To accelerate the availability of high performance computing hardware and software to the United States aerospace manufacturers for use in their design processes.
The procedures that a manufacturer carries out in order to move from the idea of a new aircraft to the roll-out of a new aircraft onto the runway.
Applications and system software that have been found through CAS research to show an enhancement to aircraft design processes, and a laboratory in which the computer manufacturers can identify weaknesses and produce improvements in their products.
