Many people have been interested in the training materials that we have been using in our summer and ongoing computer and communications workshops. The main focus of NASA Langley's HPCC/IITA K-12 research effort has been the development of a networking model that allows an entire school network to connect to the Internet through a single telephone line. A 37-page white paper has been written which describes the model, as well as the initial pilot project that has grown into a self-sustaining public school initiative which is providing Internet access for more than 60 schools in the Virginia Tidewater region.
