Net Day East - Bring in the Wire!
Join the effort to get public, private and alternative K -12 school in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia wired for connection to the Internet. The goal is to help meet NetDay 96 expectations to bring high-bandwidth wiring to all the schools in the US by October 26, 1996.






NASA and FAA Sponsor General Aviation Design Competition
NASA and the FAA are sponsoring a General Aviation Design Competition for the 1996-97 academic year that is open to undergraduate and/or graduate students at U.S. aeronautical and engineering universities. The third year of the competition engages students in a national effort to revitalize the US general aviation sector, and seeks to educate students on the importance of general aviation for business and personal use as well as its economic importance.
