Scientific Grand Challenge:
To simulate the Earth's core, mantle, and crust at a fidelity that reproduces the magnetic field's periodic reversal and the characteristics of continental drift.

* TERRA is a finite element mantle convection code.
** DYNAMO is a spectral MHD code.
