Please read the installation instructions below, and the file IE5.TXT
before attempting to install the software. If you are uncertain as to
whether your system is likely to have issues on installation you are
strongly advised not to install this software.

W A R N I N G !

ic24 uses the very latest Microsoft browser software, version IE5. This
means that if you have been using an earlier version of Internet
Explorer it may no longer function correctly.

Installation Instructions 
-------------------------

To run the ic24 installation software simply insert the CD and Windows
95, 98 or NT4 will automatically start it (if you have Autorun disabled
for your CD drive, double-click on the CD drive icon in My Computer).
The ic24 Internet Software can then be installed from the first welcome
screen by clicking the Install button.

Clicking Install will launch the Internet Explorer installer. You will
be asked to accept the Microsoft Licence Agreement for Internet
Explorer. You must accept the licence to continue. You will then be
asked if you wish to install a typical set of components, or to
customise your installation. Unless you are an expert we recommend you
select to install the typical configuration. The installer will then
install the browser software on your PC. When the installation is
finished, the installer will restart your PC.

When restart is complete, Windows will finish configuring your system to
use the new software. This may include installing files and drivers for
networking. You may need to provide your original Windows installer disk
to allow the system to read the files it needs. The software will also
detect and configure your modem. Ensure that it is connected and
switched on. Once the networking is configured, you will be asked if you
wish to complete your ic24 registration. If you select to register you
will be connected to the ic24 registration server where you will be
asked to provide some personal details and choose your email name and
password. You will also be asked to provide a piece of security
information such as your mother's maiden name which we may ask you
should you forget your password.

Once you have successfully completed registration, your browser and
email software will be automatically configured for your new account and
you will be disconnected from the registration server.

You are now all set to start surfing and e-mailing. Double-click
Internet Explorer or Outlook Express on your windows desktop to start!.
