Acidia is a multi-user RPG played over the web. Players navigate through a VRML world, interacting with strange creatures, robots, humans, and each other along the way. Through the course of this engaging and entertaining story, the players learn 30 basic chemistry concepts.

Sridhar V. Iyer

Sridhar left his position as faculty member at the University of Illinois to start the game company that is currently producing Acidia. He spent six years at IBM working on the development of parallel computing systems and brings a rich research background in work-load partitioning and balancing to the multi-user game project. He holds a Ph.D in computer engineering.
