Quick Start Guide to the V.D. Demo


Installation
To install the VD Demo, run "demo.exe". To uninstall the game, go to your Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down until you see the VDDemo listing, select it and press Add/Remove.

Starting the Game
To start the game, click on the Start button, move the cursor to Programs, and select the icon labeled VDDemo. To start a new game from the main menu, press New Campaign.

Choosing Your Army
The first screen you will come to is the Recruitment Screen. Select the units you wish to hire by left-clicking on their respective pictures on the left. Once you have chosen all the units you wish to buy, press Hire Units. When you are finished recruiting, click Done.

Choosing Your Mission
You should now see a screen depicting the layout of the land, with icons scattered across it representing different missions in the campaign. Select a mission to play by left-clicking on its icon. The icons that are faded will not be available until an adjoining mission is completed. (You can skip a mission by placing the mouse cursor over its icon and pressing C).

0-9	Sets Overall Game Speed (0 = Fastest, 9 = Slowest)


Note: You can select a group of units to give orders to by dragging a box around them with the right mouse button.
