A text editor which was only designed to replace original Windows95 Notepad. It is small and simple. It has several useful features: open multiple documents of any size, fonts management for display and printer, page setup, search and replace etc. NewPad remembers settings (fonts, Windows size and positions) since last session. It does not provide any splash screens, help menus (all necessary help topics are displayed in a status bar) and standard tool bar. No special installation required. Just copy Notepad.exe to your Windows95 directory and run it.

A simple text editor that's more than an editor. It let's you edit text files, run system applications (Explorer, Defrag, ScanDisk, Etc...), Browse for an EXE, BAT, PIF to run... It includes an option window which lets you change the colors of the text window. You can also change the window size for an 800 x 600, or 640 x 480 resolution monitor... There are more features, noted in the Read Me file.
