4 Q. But you did not go to university?
5 A. No, I did not, I went straight -----

7 Q. You went into a job straightaway after school?
8 A. Yes.

10 Q. What job did you do?
11 A. I joined a Chartered Accountants firm in Gt. Yarmouth
12 as an office junior.

14 Q. Then you stayed with that until?
15 A. Just over two years and two months.

17 Q. Then what did you do?
18 A. I worked with my brother doing haulage and removals.

20 Q. After that?
21 A. I went to work for friends of mine in Southwold in
22 Suffolk. They had business which was like amusements, a
23 bar, a restaurant.

25 Q. Were you doing?
26 A. I looked after the restaurant for them, managing the
27 restaurant.

29 Q. Then did you stay with that or did you go somewhere else?
30 A. I joined Debenhams in January 1983.

32 Q. What position did you hold there?
33 A. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager.

35 Q. So that was another restaurant ---
36 A. Yes.

38 Q. -- job? Then in October 1983 you came to McDonald's. When
39 did you get to the Marble Arch restaurant at McDonald's?
40 A. Late January, early February 1986.

42 Q. What position did you come in as?
43 A. Store Manager.

45 Q. How long were you at Marble Arch for?
46 A. Approximately 19, 20 months. I left in August of 1987.

48 Q. When you were there did you receive an award in relation to
49 work you did there?
50 A. I received Store Manager of the Year for 1986 which was
51 presented in 1987.

53 Q. So you left in about August 1987, and then what did you do?
54 A. I worked up in the Gt. Yarmouth branch and then I
55 became General Manager of the two restaurants, Gt. Yarmouth
56 and Lowestoft, and then I became a Supervisor of four
57 restaurants, and then a Supervisor of five restaurants, and
58 then presently my position now, succeeded in applying for a
59 franchise.
