  Q. Which end of the 15-30 per cent?
       A. To make a change in peoples' likelihood of getting
disease I would go towards the lower limit of 15 per cent
if you want to prevent people dying from preventable
       diseases.

  Q. Right. Would that include heart disease and some types of
       cancer?
       A. It would include heart disease/strokes, some types of
       cancer.

  Q. OK?
       A. Including bowel cancer, breast cancer, and other
       cancers as well.

  Q. Right. OK. If we go on. The following page of the
statement. The NACNE Report. Do you just want to say what
       NACNE is?
       A. The NACNE Report were the guidelines produced by
committee around the time that the McDonald's leaflet was
written and that was the advice currently used by most
       health professionals giving dietary advice.

  Q. You mean throughout the '80s or?
       A. I believe it was, it came about 1983. I think it had
been suppressed for a while. Because the results of the
report were unsatisfactory to many of the food industries
that was suppressed at the time, but the truth is that that
was the advice at the time. When it was finally published
that was the advice that most people gave in terms of
       reducing the disease, preventable diseases.

  Q. Right. There should be a copy of the NACNE Report I think
       behind your statement?
       A. No.

  Q. It has been referred to in Court before.

MR. RAMPTON: Your Honour it is, in fact, probably going to be
found in one of those sickly green backed binders because
        -- I think 'eau-de-nil' Mrs. Brinley-Codd calls it -- and
it has a name on the outside. I cannot see one because I
have not got one with me.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Thank you.

MR. RAMPTON: I know there is such a file. I am sorry I do not
have it. It will be over there somewhere.

MS. STEEL: Well, we have got a copy but I thought that on the
last time we referred to it everyone else had it behind
       Miss Brophy's statement.

MR. RAMPTON: I am only guessing.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What is it actually called?

MS. STEEL: The Health Education Council, a discussion paper on
proposals or nutritional guidelines for health education in
