I will read the statement.

"Further to my statement of 15.7.1993, I wish to add the
following:

1. I myself was present at the interviews made for
Jungleburger with Sergio Quintana, Quiros Guardia, Alberta
Zamora, Hugo Ribera and Carlos Barios.

2. I have the original uncut recordings of the above
interviews and I am prepared to bring them to the UK
Court.
3. I have sent the transcripts of these interviews to the
defendants and can say they are a true record from the
tapes.

Sincerely, Peter Heller 29.10.93."

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes.

MR. MORRIS: Now, in terms of Dr. Ratter which may be the
sensible one to read next, I do not actually have a copy.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Dr. Ratter is 10 of the same section. Just
pause a moment.

MR. ATKINSON: My Lord, I have not got a copy now but I assume
your Lordship will be reading it. We have no objection to

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Have you got a copy to read? That is the
problem. Mr. Riley, can you get pale blue 1C please. What
is in the bundle is, in fact, the statement profile of this
tree savanna biome, but I also have what really amounts to
a C.V. of Dr. Ratter. What I suggest is that you take the
C.V. as read.

MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: But read the profile.

MR. MORRIS: The profile is the --

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes. Can you hand that to Mr. Morris.
(Same handed) That is his statement.

MR. MORRIS: Can we just make a note. Again I have not got it
in front of me. Can we note that Dr. James Ratter seems to
be an extremely experienced and eminent person in the
field.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: What he says, it is James Alexander Ratter.
He has a bachelor of science, an honours degree, bachelor
of science in botany, doctor of philosophy in botany and
his present position is senior principal scientific
officer, head of the tropical section of the Royal
Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, if I understand RBG
properly. And he starts his professional experience by
