Capitalist Propaganda

The greatest arguement for capitalism seems to be the fact that its
been so successful. Most capitalists point out the fact that most
people support capitalism. The question is, why do most people support
it? Well, my guess is propaganda. Think about it. Here in the United
States, whenever someone is talking about our economic and political
system, their speech is always accompanied by a picture of the American
flag fluttering in the breeze, drums beating, and bands playing; the
National Anthem is being sung. Politicians talk about the Korean and
Vietnam Wars as being fights for freedom and liberty. Children are
constantly being told by our educational systems how evil communism is.
Hello? It's ridiculous to believe that we aren't being subjected to
propaganda. Only a fool would believe that. Who controls the
capitalist nations? Why, its the multi-millionaire politicians and the
business leaders, who control our congressmen by threatening to take
away their financial backing if they vote the wrong way, of course.
And of course they are going to tell us how great capitalism is. They
have the most to lose if it fails!
