Absolutely not- if you read Marx you'll find that his vision of communism involved the abolition of the paraitic state, not the extention of it- the varieties of socialism and communism that have increased state power have been in fact state capitalist nations, and economically indistinguishable from the US or Britain.

Why, state apparati (Sorry, things like the police force, and the army) only exist to cover up the class fractures in soceity- why would we need Jackboted thugs under socialism. Your right, there is no property, its all mine, and there's no state to tell me what todo...

Anyway, what I'm really trying to say is: why would you want to legislate your
freedom away? I mean, really: the only true basic human right is to do what
you damn well please (with the responsibility to face the consequences
attached to it, of course), and since freedom is granted intrinsically at birth, it seems silly to just give it away. But for the greater good, you say? Well, hell, that seems like treading on the rights of the "minority" to me, as if socialists were in the majority anyway.

No, I want freedom, to live as I please, to think and say what I please, to control my own life and not have to live after the dictates of the master class. I want more freedom, not less dear heart...

Not at all, I love your fredom- freedom to do what exactly, work really hard, get paid next to nowt and do as you are told by our mutual masters. Sorry for wanting to rob you of that sweetie...

Socialism is not totalitarian (As long as you aren't a maoist, lenninist, stalinist, or trotskist (Deathy waits for the hate mail to begin). Socialism is about the liberty of the human will, and its emanicpation from plutocracy (Rule by monied elites) and commodity production. SOcialism is about building our own lives...

Central planning is a Leninist toy- why should we plan thingas centrally, the peopel on the ground are the best placed to decides what they need.
