> Earth," but with an emphasis on alternatives to the triumph of capital.I think the number one thing that can make a difference is to discuss the bloody rise of capital and the methods used to supress labor from an historical perspective. The mostly disorganized US labor force of today is mostly ignorant about how the 8 hour day arrived, how safety and health standards arrived, and how vigorously big capital is attacking those things now. They would have people believe it was benevolent capitalists who, out of the kindness of their hearts, "granted" these things to labor.
Additionally, discussing labor conditions in other parts of the world that directly benefit the wealthier nations, and how despotic governments are propped up by big money to keep labor at bay.
This is my suggestion.
