Dear Comrades here I am beside myself with embarassment!!! One of my primary beliefs concerning socialism (and the revolution) is that no, OF COURSE no blood must be shed. I realize that my message may have sounded like a 'call to arms' but I was speaking instead of the 'propaganda war'---educating people so that they can make the choice for themselves. I think that I have an earlier message posted on here which addresses the entire violence issue (socialism CANNOT involve brutality). Basically I think I just go into the fact that a socialist world would be without war, and so therefore the revolution must be a peaceful one. But thank you for 'correcting me' because many of our less informed Comrades out there are intending a bloody revolution, which is completely ridiculous (and also scary). If I were to ever advocate violence of any kind, I would hope that my Comrades would set me straight!!! Thank you, and here's to a PEACEFUL revolution!
PS You ask what country this revolution should start/occur in. My answer is that socialism must be a worldwide system. We cannot have true 'socialism' in just one country alone. (I think I elaborate on this in one of my previous messages.)
