For those who may be interested (even those who wouldnt be I think should read this any way) here is some of the wisdom that brought about the downfall of capitalism if atleast on a national scale:"A socialist economy without socialist moral values does not interest me. We fight poverty, but we also fight alienation. One of the fundamental aims of Marxism is to eliminate Material interest, the factor of 'Individual self-interest',and profit from man's psychological motivations.
Marx was concerned with both economic facts and their reflection in the mind, which he called a 'Fact of consciousness".If communism neglects facts of consiousness, it can serve as a method of distribution but it will no longer express revolutionary moral values"
CHE GUEVARA
"....Communism is a phenomenon of consciousness and not soley a phenomenon of production. We cannot arrive at communism through the simple accumulation of quantities of goods made available to the people."
This is CHE GUEVARA again a critic of the USSR me thinks and quite applicable to Red China, he continues:
"By doing that we would get somewhere,to be sure, to some peculiar form of socialism"
And they did in the USSR and Red China did they not?
A good summing up of Marxism-Leninism as interpreted by Che is:
"For us there is no valid definition of socialism other than abolition of the exploitation of man by man..."
I know there has got to be people out there who disagree with as fine examples of what socialism is as this. Well you can..eh...get lost.
