: Besides I will not continue this debate because to me it is a simple question of under whos governance do I wish to be unemployed and the multinationals exist regardless of the nation. I dont care who claims to own this land.

Gerard, it is not only about under who's governance we wish to be underemployed and it certainly isn't the case that you should not care who 'OWNS' this land - surely it should be heartfelt that no-one owns it but we may have a responsibility towards it - a relationship of sorts that means we exist within the environment as a component part but not totally dominant force.

Anyway - I am happy to end this debate here - seems a shame as the issues of the North are inextricably linked to capitalist imperialism, ethnic disintegration and supression aswell as nationalism, terrorism (both state and guerilla) and (vaguely) marxist ideology - what a hotbed of revolution and struggle it is in such a small area - the clever thing that the UK state has done is to sideline all this and make it appear like hooligans in the streets almost - the UK (and world media) have lapped this up.

If this state of affairs existed in any other region in the world - particularly in the South - there would be international coverage of a revolution and 'romantic' guerilla movements, of struggle etc ...
