serving old food

I work at a McDonalds and we certainly do not serve food that has fallen on the floor! That is just gross! But what does happen sometime is that when the timers are expired on the product we still have to serve it. I've had to serve a cheeseburger that was sitting in the bin for 30 mins...a manager told me I had to do it.
