Not all of us are blessed with cooking skills

Paul, I agree that it is cheaper to prepare your own food. But, about all
I'm good at cooking are eggs, and, you guessed it, hamburger. I'm pretty much
like my dad in that respect. He fed my older brother and sister that combination
pretty much all the time when my mother was in the hospital for an infection
(It was a complication due to a prior surgery).

But I guess I could buy some veggies from the supermarket, and some low-fat
cold cuts for a salad. I do admit it's more convenient to eat a McD's, the IHOP,
Denny's, and Furr's Cafeteria (all-you-can-eat). I do frequent those places.
I also love Tex-Mex but I don't do that often anymore.

To wrap this up, not all restaurants are gross violators of the local health
codes. In fact, most of them are responsibly run, at least here in this neck
of the woods.
