Nastiness is not limited to McDonalds

: No Burger King is not just as bad. I was a crew member and the worst thing I ever saw someone do to a customer who was rude was put mustard on their Whopper. I also make sure that my employees are sanitary and wash their hands a lot. Burger King's food is good and at least we do not have an entire site with employees and managers bitching about how bad it is to eat there or work there. Im not saying things are always perfect and people always get their food correct or fast but we try our hardest and run our butts off to satisfy our customers. I don't eat at McDonald's and its not cause I work at BK, its cause McDonald's food is nasty. I was once offered a job there starting at 6.00 an hour and it was 1.25 more an hour than I was making but at least I had enough smarts not to work at a place where all the employees do is bitch and whine and do nasty stuff to the food.

You must work at a different Burger King than the one my husband just went to. He had ordered a whopper in the drive-thru and while waiting he could see the preparation area. He watched the lady putting pickles on the burger and after every pickle she would lick her fingers.

When he got to the pick-up window he said "No thanks".

Another fun visit was to Arby's. A girl kept sticking her fingers in the ice bin for pieces of ice to munch on. This was the same ice bin for drinks!!
Nastiness is not limited to McDonalds. These types of problems could just as easily happen in a Mom and Pop operation. You are probably a very good manager which is why it doesn't happen in your store.
