Sure, because the use of any name containing "Mc" might put a dent in their several billion dollars of profit. Beware, all you would-be trademark thieves. The McLegal Team warriors will grind you into hamburger.

This is beyond corporate arrogance. It's corporate schizophrenia.

Perhaps in the future, people with the surname McDonald will be required to make royalty payments to the corporation.
