Fujizone is designed to act as a central resource to help Atari users find information about their platform on the internet. It helps those new to the internet in getting started, and at the same time keeps the experienced surfers up to date on what's happenin' with the Atari on the net.The name of the site of course comes from Atari Corp's own trademark and logo, the Fuji symbol (all trademarks acknowledged). From April 1996 through to December of the same year, the site was known as the 'Atari Net Locator'. Welcome to the first update under the new name and re-vamped site structure!
Under its former title, the site was awarded 96% in a review by Frank Charlton, ex-Technical Editor of ST Format magazine. This entitled us to the ST Format Website Award. This is one of only two sites that gained this award before the unfortunate closure of STF in September 1996.
Fujizone is a completely independant and non-commercial production. A lot of time and expense is involved in the production and upkeep of the site. Therefore, any kind of support through sponsorship would be gratefully appreciated. If you or your organisation can help (especially if you have an interest in the Atari market), please get in touch by contacting fzadmin@fffnet.demon.co.uk.
