3D Studio 3.0 & 4.0


1. To work with 3D Studio the VESA modes must be loaded. Load them residently into your PC's memory (e.g. with a command line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file) with the following command:

V7MEPVBE.EXE

(You will find this file in your SPEA directory C:\SPEA\GDC).

2. Configure 3D Studio with the program VIBCFG.

3. Change to the \3DS3 or \3DS4 directory and start the program with the following command:

3DS VIBCFG

4. During the configuration select the option 'VIBRANT' for the following items:

MAIN-DISPLAY

MATERIAL-DISPLAY

RENDER-DISPLAY

5. Select the corresponding graphics board at the entries 'Graphics board'.


Example:

'S3 864/964' for the V7-MERCURY P-64

6. Exit the program VIBCFG.
