If desired, one can change the appearance of MediaFACE 4.0 main window.
To customize the main window:
Select the View - Toolbars - Customize command of main menu,
or right-click on menu or tool bar in MediaFACE 4.0 main window and select the Customize item in the context menu.
The Customize dialog appears. It has five tabs: Commands, Toolbars, Keyboard, Options, Menu.
1. Click the Commands tab to display it. The tab is displayed as in the example and contains the items discussed below.

The Commands tab allows you to add commands to menu or tool bar. Select the command you wish to add in the Commands list box and drag'n'drop it onto the main window tool bar or into the menu. The selected command appears as menu item or button at the position you released the mouse button.
2. Click the Toolbars tab to display it. The tab is displayed as in the example and contains the items discussed below.

Toolbars: |
All available tool bars are listed here. Select check boxes on the left of the toolbars you wish to be displayed in the main program window. Highlight the toolbar you wish to Reset, Rename or Delete here. |
Reset: |
Click this button to reset the toolbar highlighted in the Toolbars list box to default state. The operation is not available for newly created toolbars. |
Reset All: |
Click this button to reset all toolbars (except the newly created toolbars) to default state. |
New: |
Click this button to create a new toolbar. When clicked opens the Toolbar Name dialog. Define a name for the new toolbar and click OK in the Toolbar Name dialog to complete the operation. The newly created toolbar appears in the Toolbars list box. |
Rename: |
Click this button to rename the toolbar highlighted in the Toolbars list box. The operation is available for newly created toolbars only. When clicked opens the Toolbar Name dialog. Change the toolbar name and click OK in the Toolbar Name dialog to complete the operation. |
Delete: |
Click this button to delete the toolbar highlighted in the Toolbars list box. The operation is available for newly created toolbars only. |
Show text labels: |
Select this check box to show text labels of the buttons for the toolbar highlighted in the Toolbars list box. |

3. Click the Keyboard tab to display it. The tab is displayed as in the example and contains the items discussed below.

When keyboard keys are reflected in the Press New Shortcut Key text box, displays whether these keys are already assigned to any command. |
Assign: |
Click this button to assign the keyboard keys reflected in the Press New Shortcut Key text box to the command selected in the Commands list box. The button is disabled if the currently pressed keys are already assigned to another command. |
Remove: |
Click this button to remove accelerator keys assigned to the command selected in the Commands list box. |
Reset All: |
Click this button to reset all commands to default state. |

4. Click the Options tab to display it. The tab is displayed as in the example and contains the items discussed below.

Show Screen Tips on toolbars: |
If selected, then the corresponding screen tips pop up each time you place mouse cursor over tool bar buttons. |
Show shortcut keys in Screen Tips: |
If selected, then screen tips for toolbar buttons contain shortcut keys for these buttons. Available if the Show Screen Tips on toolbars check box is selected. |
Large Icons: |
Select this check box to display toolbar buttons as large icons. |
Menus show recently used commands first: |
If selected, then the menus show only recently used commands when expanded. |
Show full menus after a short delay: |
If selected, then the full menu will be shown after a short delay when this menu is expanded. Available if the Menus show recently used commands first check box is selected. |
Reset my usage data: |
Click this button to delete the record of commands usage and restore the default set of visible commands in menus. |
