The Filling palette applies to the following objects: rectangle, closed line, and ellipse objects. For text objects, a color can be changed from the Text Style palette.
Example of the Filling Palette
The items of the Filling Palette have the following meaning:
None: |
An object is transparent. |
Solid: |
A fill with the single foreground color should be applied. |
Blend: |
A fill with a gradient, which spans from Foreground to Background color. The blend filling can be: Linear, Circle, or Diamond. For further information refer to the section titled Setting Blend Options. |
Angle of blending: |
An angle can be set either by dragging arrow around the object center or by specifying the angle in degrees. |
Pattern: |
A fill with a specified pattern that combines Foreground color with Background color. This option is not available for text fragments. Pattern filling can be Vertical, Horizontal etc. |
Image: |
A fill with a specified image. An image is selected using the standard Load Image dialog by clicking Browse. For more information see the section titled Setting Images. |
The palette also contains the control for selection of Background and Foreground colors.
