There are several methods used for inserting images. In particular you are allowed to insert an image from a file.
To insert the image from a file:
1. Select the design label you are going to insert the image into.
2. Choose the Insert-->Picture-->From File command. The editor opens the standard Open File dialog. This dialog includes a preview window, where you can see the image before it will be inserted.

3. You can choose a file which contains an image that corresponds to any of the following formats: Leadview bitmap, JPEG, GIF, Tag Image File Format (TIFF), Windows Bitmap, Windows Icon, Windows Cursor, ZSoft Publisher Paintbrush, Multiple-Page PCX, Kodak PhotoCD, FlashPix, Windows Metafile Format, Adobe PhotoShop Document, Portable Network Graphics, Targa TGA, Encapsulated PostScript, Sun Raster, WordPerfect Graphic Bitmap, or Macintosh PICT.
4. Click the Insert button. The dialog is closed, if the format of selected image is supported, the cursor appears as a crosshair, which includes an image icon that allows it to be placed into the active design. If the file format is not supported, the error message Selected image format is not supported appears.
5. When you launch this dialog next time (even if it is in the next editing session), it opens the last used folder.
