Inserting Image from Image Library

There are several methods used for inserting images. In particular you are allowed to insert an image from the Image Library.

To insert the image from Image Library:

1. Select the label you are going to insert the image into.

2. Choose Insert-->Picture-->Image Library command. The editor opens the Image Library dialog.

3. Click Insert or double click the image you want to insert into the Work Area.

4. The dialog is closed. The cursor appears as a crosshair, which includes an image icon so as to place it into active design.

There is alternative way for inserting the image from Image Library. You can insert an image from the Image Library Palette.

To insert an image from the Image Library Palette:

1. If the palette is not visible, you have to display it via the View-->Palettes-->Image Library command. . You can then drag and drop the image from the palette directly to the work area.

2. The Image Library dialog, which can be resized, contains a scrollable list of small thumbnails of images available in the Image Library. Initially, this list displays the top level of the catalog hierarchy - names and thumbnails of catalogs. You can scroll further into the catalog and navigate between images by using either the mouse or keyboard. When the image is selected, its name is highlighted and the selection frame around the image appears. Only one image can be selected at a time.

3. User can insert image into the Work Area by double clicking on the image or by pressing the Space or Enter key on the keyboard.
